For Small Business Saturday 2024, the goal at Semicolon was to drive traffic to the in-person store and to spread awareness of the nonprofit’s mission: to close the literacy gap among minoritized demographics in Chicago. For every book sold, Semicolon donates two to the Chicago Public School system. To do that, we needed to emphasize how important it is to get books into the hands of kids.
